The Spirituality of the Giveaway

There is so much noise in the digital space as more and more digital businesses, content creators, membership sites enter into the internet space. It is becoming more and more challenging to have your voice heard; to avoid getting into the copycat form of taking your unique offering out into the world.

In today's 'fire, ready, aim' way of marketing and communicating products and services, we are bombarded on a daily basis with so-called free offers via email, marketing messaging via social media, Whatsapp and other DM adverts - all in the name of material, ego driven, FOMO, fear based scarcity and not-enoughness.

What if there were a different way of Be-I-Ng and Do-I-Ng as we take our products and services out to those people we have been called to serve instead of manipulating people into buying and spending on things that that really add little real value to their quality of Be-I-Ng.

The Spiritual, Humanitarian and Social marketplace is growing exponentially as people grapple with purpose and meaning; as they seek answers to questions that are Soul and Spirit based. And we, who operate in this space run the risk of repeating the same old, same old ways of marketing to our audiences as of old.

Surely, there is a better and different way that embraces Spiritual energies instead of the material grasping at market shares and that scarcity mindset of there not being enough to go around. I have been as guilty of these energies as the next person because this is how I was trained to think.

I first came across the teachings of the 'Giveaway Ceremony' in the book and card deck, "Sacred Path Cards" by Jamie Sams. Jamie, was commissioned by Great Spirit to reveal some of the Sacred teachings of the First People of Turtle Island (North America), in order to bring an enlightened way of living that is one with Mother Earth and All That Is. In the beautiful gentle teachings of the First People, there is no such thing as Climate Change; with food and water crises as all things created by Great Spirit are treated with reverence and respect.

As with the teachings of most of the world's Indigenous Peoples, the way of living sustainably on the planet where there is enough for all without being sucked into the abyss of consumerism, guides us to that gentler way of Be-I-Ng and Do-I-Ng. And this gentler way is a fundamental cornerstone of the engaging with our customers in such a different way.

The Giveaway had its roots in the passing on of goods, utensils, items that were no longer needed by one individual on to another - and not with the scarcity mindset of hand me downs - more with the reverence that one person had added their 'medicine' - their Beingness to the object, thing, or teaching that was being transmitted to another. The application of this teaching as Jamie Sams outlined, was in seeing our own gifts and talents as our 'Giveaway' to the world in how we contribute to building a world of peace that is the legacy that we will hand on to the next 7 Generations in the Spirit that there is enough for all.

And so, these energies and vibration have entered into the way in which we are approaching how we market what we have to offer that is an extension of the gifts and talents, the knowledge, experience and wisdom that we have to offer our world.

It is in this Spirit that whatever content we are putting out as our "Giveaway' is done in the Spirit of an offering, our service to content that is enlightening and empowering as our 'free' offers. Yes, some of the wording may well be 'old' - the Spirit behind it is not as we embrace the energy of sharing the wisdom that we have acquired along the way.

Does this mean that we do not charge for our products and services - of course we do - for the Universe is always in the business of an exchange of energy. Our Giveaways though are not a manipulation to entice people to buy what they do not need, nor are ready for. They are a sincere and genuine offer that invites you to explore you - your path and Spiritual and personal development journey. Should the Giveaways be enough for you as to where you find yourself, on your path, then we are delighted that we have been able to be of service.
