What is a peer educator?
Peer educators are community orientated individuals who share knowledge and guidance with their peers, often in a mentoring or teaching role. They help facilitate learning experiences and promote positive change. Peer Educators who are of the same or similar age, speak directly to the needs of Millennials, Gen Z's and Gen A's, which is what makes them effective in working with young people.
What qualifications or skills do I need to become a peer educator?
More important than academic qualifications are the energies that you bring into this space. Qualities such as being a good communicator, caring for others, a passion for learning and transformation, and personal responsibility are what we are looking for in our PE Crew who are facilitators of learning. Qualifications in the areas of Psychology, Counselling are an added assist.
What training and support will I receive?
The Choices Learns PE Crew has been designed around a specific learning journey of transformational and enlightened learning. Your learning is as much about our learning methods and models as it is about your own inner learning and transformation. You are provided with the expertise and support you need by trained mentors and content providers who are a part of the community of learning that is the Choices Learning Hub
Will being a peer educator affect my own studies or career goals?
Being a peer educator in the Choices Learning Hub and Community can enhance both your studies and career. We've developed a career path for our Crew that aligns with your goals, providing real, relevant experience to support you and your future. It's important to note you are being offered an opportunity to grow a business, not an offer of employment.
How much time commitment is required as a peer educator?
In line with our business and learning philosophies, you have the freedom to choose how much or little you wish to engage. as it fits in with your schedule. Projects may be your own and those sourced by us. The effort you put in will determine the results you achieve. Remember, this is an opportunity to build your skills as a social entrepreneur.

Unlike formal academic institutions, which come with high study loan costs, our program offers an accessible, practical, and implementable sustainable solution at a fraction of the price. The investment covers training materials, our facilitators, and resources, with support available to help participants self-fund.
The PE Crew program builds a supportive community for Peer Educators, offering learning, peer engagement, mentorship, and ongoing support. We focus on their growth by providing training, mentoring, access to business expertise, and resources to help them grow their businesses.
Why is there an monthly membership fee?
Can my child earn any certifications or recognition through this program?
How will being a peer educator benefit my child's future?
The monthly membership fee teaches the PE Crew about the costs of running a business a well as being provided with access to ongoing product development and support within the Choices Youth Learning Portal. Members have access to monthly Masterclasses and bundles to help grow their businesses. Membership is optional.
This program is not an accredited academic offering. PE Crew members are licensed to offer our branded learning products under the licensing terms and conditions. They will receive testimonials from those they serve, as well as from our faculty for their resumes that demonstrate their commitment to community service and personal growth.
Being a peer educator builds essential skills like communication, leadership, empathy, and adaptability, all of which are valuable for academic and career growth. Our Peer Educators also connect with like-minded, responsible young adults, forming lasting friendships and networking opportunities. For many, this role provides a strong foundation for their future.
